Jennifer Mirus works primarily in the area of employment relations.
She brings a practical, down-to-earth approach to preventing and
resolving workplace problems.
Jennifer represents employers in employment-related litigation
and advises businesses and municipalities on all aspects of employment
relations, including wage and hour laws, discrimination and harassment
laws, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Family and Medical
Leave Act.
She also conducts workplace investigations and
drafts employment contracts, non-competition
agreements and confidentiality agreements.
Jennifer teaches courses on HR legal issues at the University
of Wisconsin-Madison Small Business Development Center, and is
a frequent lecturer on employment-related topics.
Jennifer also advises clients in the insurance industry on compliance
and privacy issues.

As chairperson of Boardman's Recruiting Committee, Jennifer finds
she benefits from ongoing contact with law students and a continued
connection with the law school.
Jennifer spends her free time with her husband Kevin, a math
and computer programming instructor, and her three young daughters.
Jennifer loves attending Badger football games (she is a football
fanatic) and reads as much as her schedule allows.
