Primary Areas of Practice: Business and Dealership Law

Gary Antoniewicz focuses his practice on general business law, business litigation and trade regulation, with an emphasis on automobile, farm and construction equipment, and other types of dealerships.

Gary has represented many dealerships and small businesses throughout the Midwest and has extensive experience in business planning, buying and selling businesses, business litigation and regulatory matters.

• Instructor at many schools and seminars for automobile and equipment dealers, as well as the UW Law School Lawyering Skills Program
• Frequent contributor to trade association publications, writing on topics such as franchise relations, business planning, employment law, consumer finance, trade regulation, advertising and licensing
• Serves as general counsel for the Midwest Equipment Dealers Association
• Former staff counsel for the Wisconsin Automobile and Truck Dealers Association
• A graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School
• Earned an M.S. in Industrial Relations from West Virginia University
• Earned a bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin

Gary enjoys Great Lakes sailing and outdoor activities in his vacation home in Wisconsin's northwoods. Gary is an avid basketball fan, watching his son play for Madison Memorial High School as well as attending most UW-Madison Badger games. Gary has participated on many community boards and was involved in youth coaching for many years.
